Riccardo Cassiani Ingoni

Riccardo Cassiani Ingoni is a biologist, Ph.D. in neurophysiology, bodyworker. Trained at the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (USA), the Italian National Olympics Committee and the Center for Regenerative Medicine in Barcelona. Since 2007 he has been lecturing and training professionals on bodywork approaches for managing chronic physical and emotional pain, and post-traumatic stress.

Expertise

Riccardo Cassiani Ingoni earned his Masters degree cum laude in biology with a concentration in neuroscience from the University of Pisa, and a Ph.D. in neurophysiology from the Sapienza University of Rome. He worked for any years as a research fellow for the Neuroimmunology Branch of the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke, the most advanced bio-medical research facility in the USA; thereafter for the Center for Regenerative Medicine in Barcelona and for the Italian National Olympics Committee. He received two honorary achievements: The Integrative Neural Immune Award from the National Institute of Mental Health and the Mangrella Award in Neuroscience from the Italian National Council of Research.

As vice-president of the International Association for Reflexology, Neuromodulation and Posturology (AIRNP) he trained with experts in the fields of regenerative medicine, neuromodulation, bioenergetics, biofeedback, and trauma recovery. Since 2007 he has been lecturing and leading trainings on bodywork and biofeedback approaches for managing post-traumatic stress and chronic pain.
